Who We Are
Before co founding SSI in 2005, Cary served as COO for former software provider, Paragon Total Solutions (PTS). With over 20 years in the public safety industry, he understands the impact that software solutions have on the safety and efficiency of daily operations. As CEO, Cary creates the vision, strategy and development of the InterOp Product Suite to ensure SSI provides innovative, easy to use solutions for today's public safety.
Larry came to SSI in 2007 through the acquisition of Plus Incorporated. He has a deep knowledge of all Windows-based server, client, and cluster deployment architectures as well as non-Windows systems such as Linux, UNIX, and Novell. While at Plus, Inc. he managed all Georgia clients, consisting of nearly 150 agencies, including the many federal agencies such as the FBI, DOAG, GBI, and US Military bases in Georgia. As our COO, Larry oversees all of SSI's daily operations in addition to managing our support division.
Tyler grew up tinkering with hardware and software for fun. In 2010, at the young age of 18, Tyler joined the SSI team as a Support Engineer traveling full time for installation and deployment. In 2011, he accepted a part time position with the Butt's County Sheriff's Office as the on-site IT Director. He served as an Implementation Specialist for SSI from 2013 - 2014 as the release of our CAD product began to grow in popularity across the state. Today, as Chief Technology Office, Tyler works hard to ensure that technologies used and deployed by SSI enhance our daily operations so we can best serve our clients.
Director of Sales and Marketing
With a ten year background in retail sales and management, Shannon brings a strong desire to pair each new client with the best solution for their needs. Prior to joining the SSI team in 2016, she worked in the public safety industry for both fire and law enforcement agencies. As Project Manager, Shannon oversaw the procurement, acquisition and implementation of software systems for a Georgia police department. As such she understands the various stages that our clients experience while procuring and transitioning to a new software solution.
Director of Implementation
Jeremy has a long history serving the public sector. Formerly the owner of one of the regions most reliable vehicle installation services, he remains a trusted partner in our area. His knowledge and expertise in the automotive hardware market are invaluable when consulting with clients on outfitting new vehicles. He is task oriented and dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget. Jeremy was promoted to Director of Implementation in 2022 and shows the same dedication towards delivering software solutions.
Director of Training
Chelsea joined the SSI team after spending 18 years serving in both a police department and a sheriff’s office. She is a GA.P.O.S.T. Certified peace officer with additional certifications in Communications, Jail, and Court Services. She is also a P.O.S.T. certified general and emergency medical instructor and GCIC TAC. She specializes in customer relations and loves to visit and work side-by-side with LEO staff during daily operations. Chelsea excels at surveying user/department needs, making sure that the solutions we deliver meets or exceeds those needs. Her dedication in making certain every user utilizes InterOp to its fullest potential has made her an integral and indispensable part of the SSI family.
