DO SSI PRODUCTS WORK OUTSIDE OF GEORGIA?
Yes. The technology SSI products are built on allow them to work in any state. However, some states may have different reporting requirements and we would have to evaluate the changes necessary. Contact us for more information at (770) 537-1500.
DOES SSI AUTHOR ITS PRODUCTS OR SIMPLY RESELL THEM?
For the most part, everything we sell is designed, developed, and completely authored by SSI. All of our InterOp law enforcement products are the sole property of SSI. However, we do integrate other manufacturers products into some of our products, i.e. livescan, and on products such as ALPR (license plate readers) we are a value added reseller for Vigilant Solutions, an industry leader. SSI serves as an in-state support and service hub for Vigilant, much more than a simple reseller.
MY AGENCY WANTS TO PURCHASE SSI PRODUCTS, WHAT IS YOUR PRICING MODEL?
As a result of owning most of our solutions outright, we have the flexibility to work within numerous pricing frameworks. Each situation is different, depending on the needs of the client, the period of return, and the ratio of hardware/software involved. SSI has worked with agencies on traditional purchase arrangements, subscription plans, per citation plans, and other. We want InterOp products at your agency, we make every effort to make this happen.
DO YOUR PRODUCTS INTERFACE WITH OTHER VENDOR'S PRODUCTS?
Yes. We have numerous interfaces to other vendors for things such as commissary interfaces, phone system interfaces, cell check interfaces, video visitation interfaces, web data feeds, crime reporting, citation data, warrant data, and much, much more. We are always open to interfacing with any vendor provided that the business rules can be established, that the interface can be readily supported, and provided that the interface doesn't significantly alter or affect the design principles of other InterOp products.
DOES YOUR COMPANY OFFER AFTER HOURS SUPPORT?
Yes. At SSI we provide 24/7 support for our product lines to agencies with active support contracts. We work when you do, it's that simple.
IS YOUR SUPPORT US-BASED OR OUTSOURCED TO A CALL CENTER?
Here at SSI we are 100% US based, Georgia based in fact. The same individuals you communicate with for support during normal business hours are the ones that will help you for after hours support. Our staff of support technicians are ALL SSI employees. Customer support is JOB ONE for us, and is far too important for us to farm it out to another company or country.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 10 / SERVER 2012?
Yes, all of our InterOp products function on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012.
